Copyright and takedown requests

Last updated: 27 October 2026. We respect creators’ rights and act quickly on valid requests.

What we host (and don’t)

TikTok to MP4 does not host any videos, photos or sounds. When someone pastes a link, the files are fetched from TikTok at that moment and passed straight to them. Nothing is kept on our servers.

What we can do is stop a post, or all posts of an account, from being processed here. Once blocked, anyone who pastes the link sees a message that it can’t be downloaded on TikTok to MP4.

How to ask us to block a post

Email [email protected] with the subject Copyright and include:

  1. the TikTok link(s) of the post(s), or the @username of the account;
  2. a description of the work you own, and your relationship to it (creator, or authorised to act for them);
  3. your name and a way to contact you;
  4. a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law;
  5. a statement that the information in your request is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner;
  6. your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is enough).

We review every complete request and usually block the post within a few working days.

Removing a video from TikTok itself

Blocking a post here does not remove it from TikTok. To have content removed from TikTok, use TikTok’s copyright report form.

If we blocked something by mistake

If you are the creator and a post was blocked without your agreement, email us from the account’s contact address or explain how we can confirm it’s yours, and we will review it.
